champions league final is an AMAZING reason to get hammered. how dare you not want to. your home team is playing. again. you MUST. the only reason they lost last year is because you, personally, didn't drink enough. don't let munich down again.

wrt game of thrones, just wait. even more characters come into play over the next 2 books. the good news is that some of the older characters die off, thereby keeping the total # somewhat manageable. if you can't keep track, just visit the wiki.

i'd also be all about a 2 hour version of the show. if they wanted to really capture everything in the books they'd have to do that. as it stands now, they are really cutting/changing/simplifying certain story lines to make things fit. it hasn't really been that drastic up until this season. but the story lines keeping getting more and more complex and interwoven as things progress so i guess it's a necessity.
