To answer your bonus question. Bonuses are typically paid 2.5 months after your company's year end. There is a provision in the tax law that allows companies to deduct bonuses paid within 2.5 months of year end on their prior year tax return.

So, Hafer has a calendar year company and Joo works at a company that has a year end in July. I would say July 31, but my guess is Ferguson is a 52/53 company that ends on a specific day of the week every year.
