In the next few weeks I'll be rolling my 401K into and IRA, mostly because it would be stupid not to in my situation. Also, IRA allow a lot more diversity in your portfolio than your employer probably allows so that's always nice too.

Jono- do you manage your own IRA or do you have a financial services firm looking after it?

Things are moving along here in Germany. We really dig our new apartment. Kate had been doing a good job setting things up while I'm at work and we hope to have a finished product by the end of the weekend. All Internet and phone options are up and running. Next up...Xbox!

I have a sinus infection which has been sucking the energy out of me. I should be seeing my first German doctor next week.

we are both going to try to buy a dirndl (for Kate) and lederhosen (for me) this week since we want to beat the price increase that comes closer to Oktfest.

We started Friday Night Lights for our first series to tackle out of the many I downloaded in July. Love it! Who knew high school football teams in Texas were so good? Like all of them! I can't wait to find out which story arcs are dropped in season 2.

Jono and Amy -- good luck today!
