...does NOT mean moving out of the KC area. What I meant is that where we currently live is not convenient any longer and that we would likely move across town/the city. My bad.

Had I stayed in my current company, I would've been required to move to keep moving up. While that is not entirely a bad thing, it is something I did not want to do at the moment.
