Was in 1.5 days worth of meetings but I am now finished. Because I was not traveling for business out of town this time (meeting held here in KC), I did not get a hotel room, so I did not stay up late and drink with everyone who does that last night b/c I couldn't just wobble back to my hotel room. While I enjoyed staying in my bed, this was an unexpected downside. Next week (beginning w/ a Sunday night flight - which means I get to miss the final holes of the US Open and the first half of the NBA Finals game) I will be spending nearly 4 full days in Monroe, LA (shout to Heaves' in-laws!) for work.

Just a quick update to explain my dumb absence.
