went to the eastern shore on saturday to do a random day trip. we went to chestertown and rock hall. the highlights of the day were: 1) buying amish-made patio furniture on the cheap from this insane roadside furniture store (may be worth going back just for this place); 2) eating my body weight in fresh crabs; and 3) going to a winery where the owner professed his love for strip clubs... in front of his 13 year old kids.

sunday, we went down to arlington national cemetery with the tripps. i've never been there before so it was cool to see. we saw the changing of the guards and made many bridge/drowning jokes at ted kennedy's grave. they were well received. rest of the day was spent resting/doing chores around the house.
