I believe that all Security Policemen were Combat Veteran's.

I know that all the "Attacks on Tan Son Nhut" during my time frame makes me a Combat Security Policeman.

I was there for the TET Offensive, Jan 31, 1968, which was a ground attack by five battalions of NVA and VC consisting of 2,500 enemy, made the 377th SPS a combat unit.

I was there for "Mini-TET, May 6, 1968" which was a large ground attack, made the 377th SPS a combat unit.

Then there were all those rockets and mortar attacks, made the 377th SPS a combat unit.

Having gone thru your schooling in Hawaii and other locations is training for combat.

Experience in combat, make us all a "Combat Veteran."
