Tell those sixteen security policemen who died while defending Tan Son Nhut, that they were not Combat Security Policemen. People will laugh at you.

We had people assigned to the 377th Security Police Squadron who graduated from one of the 821st, 822nd or 823rd Combat Security Police.

So those few men from those three above units were considered combat security policemen but not the rest of us who went thru the TET Offensive 1968 were not combat security policemen. The sign above the gate to our security police compound states: "Proven In Combat."
