Gary,

I doubt not what you say. I know two veterans who voiced at group that at 80 the VA reduced their % rating. One, I and the Col (you know who) have been attending regularly with him for years. I see his need. I don't see the reason for a reduction. He's afraid of the VA and to appeal at his age, and now worries about his spouse's benefits when he is called up yonder.

I must have been one of the lucky ones. Fully developed claim I wrote. Had a great helper (VSPA Don John Webster) who dragged me to the VA and through, the bureaucracy, and 'not reviewable' claim awarded in 90 days. Grateful am I, and point my finger straight up giving credit for that to God.

And I can't help but worry about our brothers who feel alone when this happens to them (and it is "to them").
