Welcome to Season 7!

How funny but I just had the opposite reaction to you when watching the S7 finale. I used to think I loved the stand alones best but I was rejuvinated (sp?) by the myth in this last one. I loved it!

Anyway I enjoyd T6E/Amor Fati a lot. Aw, you thought that touchstone scene was corny? Did you know dear old DD wrote it? He's such a softie. :-) Originally they had filmed another scene (I've seen the transcript the nternet) and they felt they were cheating the fans so DD wrote this new sappier scene. I loved it. Very emotional.
Didn't you at least love Mulder in his victory cap? :-)

I especially loved seeing Albert Hosteen again too. The Fowley dream scenes were fightening! But the reason he dreamed of Fowley was very simple my dear. He was getting a dose of the direction his life might have taken if he hadn't gone on his X-Filean path. In the end he is brought back to reality and lerns what is really importnt to him and Fowley ws not. He's not even all that upset about her death. Who does he wind up with, ahem, Sully! Sorry Sleep but your noromo battle is going to get tougher and tougher. Brace yourself. hee hee

I thought the GOD/Alien connection was a big revelation but ceretainly not an original idea. It's pretty common in the Aliens on Earth lore. I thought the two eps were prety well done though. What do you think about CSM telling Mulder he was his dear old dad? rue or just a line? I think the CSM is just dilusional and wants to believe he's Mulder's father because he was so disappointed in Spender.
