Subject: Sorry my review's so late. It got... Lost!
In reply to: Patrick 's message, "REVIEWS: Matthew Fox 12/02/06" on 09:43:54 12/12/06 Tue

Get it, because Matthew's on "Lost" and... ah forget it. Just please, please, PLEASE someone else review a show or two! Please...

Ronald Reagan Video: Yeah, not the best political humor I've seen. Sorry Mark, it's just that your politician bashing is kind of predictable, and isn't that funny. IT's just insulting them and making them out to be idiots. Plus, it's not really innovative to poke fun at a dead president, there's nothing current.

Matthew Fox Monologue: Very nice monologue. I liked Matther's prickish attitude and Tenacious D had some great commentary; I thought calling the stairs the "roof portal" was quite funny. The ending with Ron Livingstone didn't really appeal to me, but other than that it was good.

Topper: Admittedly, I stole, that is "borrowed" the idea for this sketch from Jason's "Beautiful Day." Hopefully it's as well received as the piece that inspired it; Beautiful Day's still one of the funniest sketches I've seen.

A Long Lost Seinfeld: A Seinfeld parody coming after Michael Richard's rant was kind of predictable, and it didn't really have much humor, just a rehashing of stale Seinfeld jokes. Sorry.

ABC Budget Cuts: Good one. I've never watched Lost, but this was a pretty clever sketch. The absurd budget-cutting methods employed were very nice, I especially liked the part of outsourcing a role to an actress in India then trying to film her with another character. The twist ending was great.

Huge Restaurant Merger Ad: Hilarious concept, I would have loved to have seen it acted out.

Rocky and the Duke: The Return: Nice to see the songsters return. The first two of their melodies were good, third kind of fell flat in my opinion.
