Subject: An Announcement from the Treasury Department by: Mark Jennings Reese II
In reply to: Patrick Lonergan 's message, "REVIEWS: Kevin Spacey 05/20/06" on 17:45:07 05/20/06 Sat

Well, I finally get to roast Jennings. The dialogue from the announcement wasn't very well written or clear - sure, if this was SNL, another writer could clear that up, because they work as a team. But the meaning of the announcement wasn't very clear. Why would bill collectors be calling people to pay the government debt??? It's like saying "Your company owes me money, so I'm going to try to collect from the employees, who don't owe me anything, because they work for the company."

I thought the idea of the guy saying don't answer the phone was with comedy, and I liked how you wrote a description saying that as he speaks, he becomes more and more anxious.

The loan shark thing wasn't funny. If the government needed more money, they'd raise taxes. I thought this was going to be something about the government calling people to inform them that they must pay more, or something.

The Dick Cheney part was ok, but not nearly enough to save a sketch that doesn't make sense and is written poorly. 2 outer 10.
