Love the Idea of the Urban news report.. He are some lead stories....

Amerikkka's Most wanted?.... Not a good day for Ice Cube. The Chicago Police Department issued a formal apology to Oshea Jackson (Cube) after the station aired alerts that described a criminal suspect as a "Black male in his mid 20's who resembles the popular rap artist Ice Cube." After realizing the terrible mistake, The Chicago Police re-released the alert later that day saying "We are looking for a possible suspect in his mid 20's who "Resembles the Guy who played Dough Boy in 'Boys in the Hood... Nice edit.

Oh No You Didn't! In the age of evolving Hip Hop marketability... The folks at Fisher Price have just announced they've signed Big Snoop Dogg to be the spokesman for the first ever 'Fisher Price Bong'... I came across this press release and wanted to share... " Fisher Price proudly introduces our first ever child-safe, and play resistant bong... (Cough.. Cough) designed exclusively for toddlers under 36 months. With it's unique new chamber inside chamber design... which means smoke travels thru 2 water chambers so your precious little one gets that extra cooling power… Plus a cool Disney motif that looks good and fits snugly in any crib or High chair. Your little guy will be the envy of all playpens and parks…

More Snoop... I heard recently that Snoop Dogg has also teamed up with Dr. Suess to pen the first ever series of Pop up and scratch 'n Sniff pre-school books. Some of the titles currently in the works are "One Ho, Two Ho, Red Ho, Blue Ho"... "Wanda Ate The Mutha Fuck'n Plate"... "The Cat and The Gat"... and the timeless X-Mas classic "The Grinch smells like Ass" Available at all Barnes and Noble outlets soon.

'Matel' has invented a brand new doll for the urban youth market. The line of dolls is called 'Flavas'... A typical Flava girl is packaged wearing shell toe sneakers, a diamond necklace and an airbrushed denim jacket. While there will be a number of female dolls, there are only two male dolls being made to accompany the Flava girls. They are Sisqo and Nathan Lane. And in other Toy news Lego has also invented a brand new lego set for the urban youth market. Made from random.. discarded... and broken pieces... It's called 'Shit Don't Fit' and will hit finer stores this fall.

Oh and one more thing... Is it just me or is Sisqo just a Float and a Cause away from being the new face of Gay Pride?

Anyone see Nasir Jones on the new cover of XXL? In the September edition, Nas is seen burning copies of both XXL and The Source. What's more troubling and much more disturbing is that Nas was also seen on set torching copies of 'Kipper's Lost Ball'... 'Jaha & Jamil Went Down The Hill'... and 'Are You There G-d it's Me Margaret'.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that during a recent Jay-Z concert at Thomas & Mack Center, the rapper pointed out to a fan and said he liked the man's t-shirt. He asked the man to toss his shirt up to the stage, Jay held it up for the audience to see-- The shirt read "Kobe Bryant Not Guilty". The Sun also reported that Hova later held up a training bra that read "Honk if ya Like R-Kelly"

And in other legal news, the Kobe Bryant rape case in Colorado took a strange twist last week when a classmate of Kobe's accuser leaked to The National Enquirer that Kobe infact wasn't solely responsible for the alleged encounter, but rather it was also John and Patsy Ramsey.

Are you Focused man? Joe Budden has teamed up with Jennifer Lopez for the remix single to 'The One.' The original version of the single is the fifth single from J-Lo's Cd, This Is Me...Then, while the remix is the sixth single to be released. Budden told AllHipHop.com "She's the coolest chick you could ever meet, she's very down to Earth, very humble, very focused. She was just ill - everything about her." Budden also teased about a new re-mix of Pump It Up featuring Ben Affleck. Joe mentioned "He's the coolest chick you could ever meet, he's very down to Earth, very humble, very focused. he was just ill - everything about her."

The Daily Sport (British tabloid) reported that Lil' Kim is making a life-sized doll of herself. Not just the inflatable Water-Wing Titties that she originally developed. "I am now going to make a life-size Kim doll that will be anatomically correct in every way." Yes. That's' right, now you and your idiot friends can look forward to hours of fun and frolic as you all get the chance to mount the Queen B. Each Doll comes equipped with Oversized Breasts… A signed certificate of authenticity… As well as mock contract that binds you financially for life to Lil Cease. A great stocking stuffer...

More Kim.... Lil Kim is in negotiations to star opposite Vivica Fox, in Full Force Films new movie, "National Lampoon's Bouncers." Vivica Fox will play the character of "Fine Ass Debbie" while Lil Kim's breasts will play the bouncers...

Krunked Out Kitty! In a last ditch effort to seem more 'gangsta' I had a Veterinarian make gold fronts for my cat. It's off the Hook! Every time the little fucker goes into heat she looks like Lil Jon with Teats! Now that's straight up ghetto!

From The I Don't Give A Rats Ass File... Booty-obsessed rapper Sir Mix-a-Lot is making a comeback. (yes you can all start living again) The man who made "Baby Got Back", the Grammy-winning dance-floor anthem in 1992 is returning from a self-imposed six-year retirement with a new album, called 'Daddy's Home'. I asked my 16 year old cousin if he had ever heard of Sir Mix-A-Lot... He thought it was a hand held kitchen appliance made by Ron Popeel, then again my cousin also thought a menstrual cycle was a guys bike...

And the Winner is..... The Source Awards are returning once again in October and the bets are on the table over which rap scrap will break out first. The last Source Awards was nothing more than a mosh pit of mayhem and chaos, giving middle America one more reason to hate hip-hop. No network has agreed to televise the event. (hmmm I wonder why.) However, Organizers told reporters that they don't foresee any problems this year because they have only invited Ray Benzino and his extended family. The list of artists that are slated to perform continues to swell, as Benzino has just been added to a list that already includes Lil Ray Ray.

Ruben Studdard (American Idol) is suing 205 Flava Inc., the people who make the "205" jerseys that Studdard wore early on in the competition. The Associated Press reports, Studdard is accusing the company of illegally profiting from his image, and claims that company sales increased over $2 million after unlawfully using his likeness. ... And in a related story Clay Atkins is suing Massengill, The people who make the Douches that Clay used early on in the competition. The Associated press reports, Atkins is accusing the company of illegally profiting from is image, and claims that Massengill saw a sales bump of over 2 million after unlawfully using his likeness... You go Girl!

And Finally... The Legendary Hip Hop Pioneer Bob Hope Passed away this week... He was 300. Pour Out A Little Geritol...
