Dream Come True
I mean, yeah, the alternate reality is so outrageous it’s kinda funny, at first. But I didn’t really think this worked. And to bring out that “sell your soul to the devil” bit again, you really have to put a twist on it, something to make it fresh. ‘Cause that’s been around awhile. Damn Yankees, anybody?

Big Table vs. Little Table
Maybe it would be more clear if I was seeing it instead of reading it, but I can’t keep track of who everyone is, and why exactly they’re at this smaller table, and how they’re all related…I liked the sickeningly cheerful Timmy, reminiscent of Tiny Tim…but I’m not sure the repetition worked. It’s a tricky thing, repetition.

Christmas in Australia
Pretty wacky stuff. There was some strong stuff that made connections (I realize this is totally vague) but I didn’t feel like the sketch worked well as a whole. The ending was particularly inconclusive, although maybe I would feel differently if I saw it instead of reading it. I’m especially unsure of the “pretending to be drunk” thing. Not that Deniro would have executed it well in the first place.

Worst Bus Ride Ever
Starts out strong, with two strong, understandable characters (plus the bus driver). But the ending is very abrupt; I don’t think I get it. I don’t understand what happened…

Mario’s Pizza
Reminds me a bit of the Soup Nazi. Solid, but I think there were a few loose ends. They talk about “insulting Italian cuisine,” but what exactly makes them so psychotic? The ending was okay, and I know it’s hard to come up with endings, but I felt like, “Okay, I get what happened. But so what?”

Holiday Fun w/Tim McGraw and Nelly
The whole thing was kind of crazy, but there were parts that really worked. The Toby Keith/Lil Jon part was one of them. I wasn’t buying the Tim/Nelly as gay lovers thing, but it was quite funny when McGraw said, “No, you don’t. You didn’t like me.” Although it would be partially up to the actor to get this across, this is funny because it really does sound like the cliché “woman scorned,” in comedy, so upset she is dictating someone’s thoughts and feelings.

Another Chapter in the Robert Downey, Jr. Torch Song Trilogy
Alright, this might be making references to a lot of things that I don’t know. I tend to think that songs with ridiculous lyrics usually turn out quite funny. But the example of the song type is “Piano Man,” and if that’s the case the verses need to be shorter. And I didn’t get the ending.
