Subject: You asked for it...you got it! Jennings Reviews the Phillip Seymour Hoffmann episode
In reply to: Patrick Lonergan 's message, "REVIEWS: Philip Seymour Hoffman 08/14/04" on 16:51:13 08/14/04 Sat

No small talk need here...because small talk is meaningless. Which reminds me...why are so many people stuck on stupid, when you could be hooked on phonics? I'm just wondering!

SNY Presents: Jack Farrell's The Bastard

I like how you showed Trebek's pissed off happy hour persona as he bitched at Ken Jennings. I really enjoyed this sketch and thou I thought the ending was a bit predictable when Alex started doing the questions bit. Maybe predictable because I've seen nearly every episode. Who knows? It's was a good opening, very SNL worthy!

SNY Presents: Cash Car Star's Phillip Seymour Hoffmann's Monologue

I liked the idea. I've seen and enjoyed several of his films, so I understand how you went a different way of premise. I liked the publicists! Casted perfectly! Good job!

SNY Presents: Patrick Lonergan's Crystaline

Patrick, classic! This one was great...an easy commercial parody!

SNY Presents: JP Ragan's Spider Jam

Ragan, this was an interesting idea. I liked most of it, but I think it lost a bit of focus towards the end. It's was still entertaining.

SNY Presents: Mark Jennings Reese II's The O'Reilly Factor

This was my sketch...so...NEXT!

I am going to skip WU for the next reply and review the jokes that werenot mine.

SNY Presents: Cash Car Star's Just Like Home

I really liked most of this sketch, thou...I think it was just me...this sketch went right over my head when the whore started talking. It was still entertaining.

SNY Presents: Patrick Lonergan's Meanwhile Back at The Weather Channel

Interesting Patrick. I like the consept, some of the dialogue was iffy, but it was really good. I know that at 4:30 am when there is no skin flicks on, and there is a descent looking chick on the Weather Channel, my right hand is ready to "willingly have at it!" wink wink

SNY Presents: Mark Jennings Reese II's An Address by the President of the United States

This was my sketch...so...I'm done~!!

I'll be right back with my review of Weekend Update

Enjoy!
