Subject: Throwback Thursday

The Brotherhood from season one, first shown on Feb 3, 1996. During a simulated attack, a seriously wounded Marine is found on the beach. JAG is called in to investigate. Harm and Meg follow two theories: an executed Code Red or a brawl. After finding a box with drugs on the beach and learning that the wounded Marine's brother Tyler is in a gang, it seems there's more behind the incident.

Do you remember the nicknames the gang called Harm and Meg?

What was it about the hand gesture that got everyone "talking"?

Meg used it as a Texas (college, I think) go-team motion--"hook 'em, [long]horns." It is, IIRC, an obscene gesture in some European cultures.

The U.Texas Longhorns slogan is "hook 'em, 'Horns" and Harm is flashing their hand signal in this photo.
