- They went to San Diego and Harm retired given that he had his 20 years in. He has his own law firm representing veterans and giving support to those who have been injured in military operations such as ramp strikes. These categories and their final nominations have been divided into three ballots to make it easier for you to vote. Today we have the first ballot. Over the next week the remaining ballots will be posted in separate threads. The award presentations will then take place after all the voting has ended. Harm and other JAG characters will poof in for the lively award ceremonies at the Manly Arms Hotel.

I first heard this song seven years ago tomorrow (April 29th) when we all said goodbye to Harm, Mac and our friends at JAG. Now every time I hear it on the radio (like the other day at work) I stop and smile as my mind replays scenes of Harm and our 10 year "love affair". The good times and the trying times, the action and adventure, the romance, the glimpses into his past, into what made Harm the man he was, the courtroom battles, the flying, that look, those eyes.
Sadly now I only have my memories, my DVD's, music videos, and all that great and inventive fan fiction. Hey it's not perfect (like Harm) but it beats the alternative (having nothing).

Our third and final Harmy Awards ballot was to be posted today, but has been delayed until Sunday evening. Real life and work is interfering with Harm! If you haven't yet voted on the first or second ballots, please scroll down the Board and vote.

But for now, it's video time and today's clip is the ending scene from Season 2's "Heroes." In this episode, Harm and Mac face off in court for the first time in the case of a Navy SEAL accused of murdering his closest friend during a terrorist mission. This is the episode in which Harm fires an automatic weapon in the courtroom. And Mac believes throughout this episode that Harm sandbagged her in court. Both the weapon firing and sandbagging are discussed in this video clip. The clip is 1 minute, 33 seconds in length.

- 1. I thought the significance was that he put it back. He respected Mac enough to make a choice. As fananicfan said, he did take Mac's alcoholism into account when they were together in situations where alcohol was involved. Romantic seduction??? definitely a flirt just like in their first episode together. 2. She didn't let on about "cute" any more than she did about his "smile". 3. Could be both. We are wrapping up our Harmy Award nominations this week. Next week the voting begins, so everyone stay tuned!

Over the ten years of the series, we enjoyed many great scenes. But on the flip side, there were some scenes or plot devices that were far-fetched, preposterous, unrealistic, outlandish, out-of-character, or just didn't seem to fit the show or characters we love. Many of these scenes were controversial and hotly debated on this board over the years.

But which scene or plot device was the most far-fetched, the most preposterous? Was it. . . .AJ and Mac's almost kiss, Mac not divorcing her husband, Harm becoming Mattie's guardian, Mac and Webb in bed, Mac posing as Webb's pregnant wife, Sergei being Harm's half brother, Lindsay killing Singer, Harm insisting that Sergei fathered Singer's baby, Harm arrested for Singer's murder, Harm's fake wedding to Catherine Gale, Harm taking a job as a cropduster, Harriett giving birth in AJ's office, Mac not standing up to Vukovic's flirtations. . . .or was something else the most far-fetched scene or plot device?

- Although every single story arc that you mentioned were pretty much ALL ridiculous, the one thing that stands out most to me was how Harm and Mac, as attracted to each other and so PERFECT, for each other that they were, didn't find a way to get it together sooner. Of course, it suited the thinking of the show's philosophy that it would've diminished a big 'hook' and possibly suffered ratings had they gotten together, I STILL disagree -- it would've/could've made for VERY satisfying stories and viewing, imo, if they DID become a couple sooner, rather than later (as in the last 7.5 minutes!!) - Harm would simply not be allowed to be the guardian of a teen-aged girl given the kind of job he had, his lack of familial relationship to her, moving her out of her home to the city, etc. etc. Though I didn't necessarily dislike the characters of Mattie and Coates, that whole relationship between those three characters was just strange and probably broke regulations in both the military and the social services agencies. In the meantime, here's a video clip of the ending scene from Season 8's "Standards of Conduct". This is the episode that Theresa was referring to in her discussion thread below when Harm kept seeing Mac pregnant. Early in the episode Mac commented to Harm that she had bought a toy computer for Little AJ's upcoming "5th" birthday. This triggers Harm's hallucinations about pregnancy and the baby deal since Little AJ was celebrating his 4th birthday, not his 5th.

This ending scene clip is Harm finally talking with Mac about the birthday mixup and the baby deal. The clip is 1 minute, 40 seconds in length. Watch Harm's facial expressions and body language in this scene.
