    • All that said, about where I expect this to go. Why can't Gemmill be consistent with where the series ended. Mac could've gone to San Diego, as this episode suggests, but why couldn't Harm then take the politcal route and be the liaison to the Sec. of State? Or, Harm could've gone to Europe, and Mac could've eventually taken the job she currently has as a liaison on this show? Whatever happened to Harm needing to "grow-up"?   Well, at least we kind know what happened after that notorious coin toss, anyway.
  
  Actually, this is entirely "consistent" with what was revealed in Season 10, I think--maybe one of the eps in Season 9--when Harm confesses to Mac, as they are departing Iraq after defending/prosecuting a "rouge" agent--forget which ep--he wouldn't mind going back to Iraq to "be in the fight". That would be entirely consistent with the earlier Harm that captured all of our hearts.
  
  Secondly, I'm not so sure they were entirely that consistent with Mac's character, although I could see the switch in careers after Harm went back to the carrier life. I could be persuaded this was consistent with her character--don't forget Mark Falcon called her an "emotionally torn" women that time Mac followed Harm to Chechnea way back when.
  
  Thirdly, I will give this to the professional writers--they know how to spin a good story! I can't wait for the season finale!! (Was sorely disappointed there were no "trailers" for the final episode.) Please remember there was supposed to be a 3-story line arc leading up to the finale. Course I might have misunderstood the way this all works.
  
  Finally, I could see reappearances in this NCIS franchise for both characters, given their current "assignments" and the current situation. I don't necessarily see a "rebooted JAG" in the works, no matter how "popular" that notion is among the fan base. (I thought DJE looked tired in the series finale of JAG--and he definitely looks his age--albeit distinguished--and still "eye candy". (Damn--he makes any uniform look sexy!)

  • That was the season finale , so no trailer and we wait for the season premier which will also include the "dynamic duo." I can see that there are possibilities for them to appear in later episodes, but would rather see a JAG reboot. The nunbers for NCIS-LA soared for these episodes so I think the followers are still there. Only time will tell. PS:the eye candy is still there and so are the looks between H/M, nice to see.   Harm is now XO(second in command) in the aircraft carrier USS Allegiance. He has to deal with a terrorist threat and it seems there is a killer in  his ship. Mac appears in civilian clothes, and both keep the same rank 14 years ago, a very odd thing in the military, because as far I know, there is an "up or out" statute: in other words, promotion every 4 years or retire. Of course, we may be in front of a poetic license... LOL. In the first NCIS LA/JAG crossover ep, "The guardian", (Thank youuu forever, Scott Gemmill, love youuuu XD), our fav couple... A moment...No, we can't see them together. (Crying) :***((( My shipper heart is suffering... And, in the next week ep, we only can wacht Mac saying: "Is good to see you", and Harm answering "You look great". Wait a moment.... what?????? At least, that is we can think... BUT  the point is... Who is actually Harm speaking to? The promo is very short, we can see Harm at the ship through the big screen NCIS Comm room... With probably (or surely) A LOT of people around...Now, think of it: If your dear hubby had been during several months in high seas, and you would have the chance to talk him in real time, what would you say him???  I,m an optimist, I admit it... LOL. What do you think, you guys??? ;)

  • From the previews it still seems as if they're trying to make us wonder if Harm and Mac are together, but I have to believe TPTB are just building the tension. I don't think R. Scott Gemmill would dash our shipper hearts (unlike DPB). Also, I loved Harm's entrance - older and more mature, but still the cocky flyboy!
