What is a "recurring" character? This is a character who showed up again and again. It could be a regular starring role character, or it could be a guest character who repeatedly appeared over the course of the series.

Note: Characters that appeared in three or less episodes (such as Keeter, John Farrow) are not eligible for this category. There's a category yet to come for you to nominate them.

I just finished watching Death Watch and have a question. -- usmgrad, 21:54:42 02/23/12 Thu
Early on in the episode when Mac is asking Harm about Krenick's advances toward him, his response is “Come on Mac, I wouldn’t get involved with a superior officer anymore than you would.” My question is was this episode before we (and Harm) found out about Mac and Farrow? If so that would make this a “throw away line” that the writers came back to in a later episode by creating the affair between Mac and Farrow. Or if we already knew about the affair was it an attempt by Harm to get Mac so mad she would leave and he could get the Norfolk? If this is the case it seems out of character for Harm.

Just a little bit of wondering on a late Thursday night.

- Both were season 3 but Good of the Service where we first see Farrow was ep 3 while Death Watch was ep 19. I seem to remember that Harm was trying to find out what exactly the relationship was between Mac & Farrow in Good of the Service and may have suspected but I don't think it was confirmed until People vs Mac. Although JAG was considered an action-adventure drama, there were many comedic moments during the course of the series, particularly in the early years. What scene do you think was the funniest of the entire series, the one that always makes you laugh?

It can be a scene that featured Harm or it can be a scene in which Harm does not appear. It's your choice. Oh, yes, it can also be one of the dream scenes that aired during the series.

Mac most frequently wore her Marine uniform, but over the course of the series she also wore a wide range of civilian clothes. She appeared in her underwear, in bikini swimsuits, in lingerie, in gypsy clothes, in cowboy pajamas, in jogging clothes, in a wedding gown, in a maid of honor gown, in Bedouin garb, in a burka, and in maternity wear. She stepped out in casual clothes, two-piece professional suits, formal gowns, and all styles of dresses and pant suits. And she even wore a bath towel in one of Harm's fantasies. In addition to her standard Marine uniform, Mac also appeared in her dress uniform, in a flight suit, in cammies, and even in Navy uniforms in a couple of episodes.

Lots of clothing and Mac looked attractive in most of the outfits she wore. But which one was the best? Our second Harmy Award category is: Most Attractive Outfit Worn by Mac.

Harmy Award Nominations - Best Harm Flying Scene -- Araninda, 23:22:00 02/06/12 Mon
Attention on deck! Gather round all ye Harmybroads. It's time to begin the 2012 Harmy Awards. Now, ladies, settle down. . . .Harm isn't here yet. First we nominate selections in each category, then later we will have the final balloting. The winners will be announced in lively ceremonies at the Manly Arms Hotel with Harm, other JAG characters and a pesky 500-lb gorilla "poofing" in for the festivities.

Every few days we will post a new Harmy Award category. Anyone can make a nomination for that category. But in order for your nomination to make the final ballot, others on the board need to post "aye, aye", meaning they agree with your nomination. The three or four nominations with the most agreement from other posters will be placed on the final ballot.

You can make as many nominations as you wish, but please post each nomination separately. And you can "aye" as many of the nominations as you wish. No limit. Nominations are open as long as the thread is on the main page of the board. One big rule, however -- all nominations must be what we actually saw on the show and not fantasy or make believe that we wished we had seen.

The person who nominates the winner in each category will be recognized during the awards ceremony and will receive an evening with Harm. That's a great incentive to nominate!
