• It is with a heavy heart that I announce discovering this morning on facebook that a long time harmyboard supporter - MKim - passed away on May 12th - I know she's battled health issues for years. • Kind of a strange question, but does anyone remember what happened to Sergei? I remember how Harm found him in Russia, but then I can't remember what happened to him. I know there was the Sergei/Singer storyline - was that planned all along or just a way to introduce NCIS or an unexpected change to storylines that season...?   • I always thought that whole thing was nuts - first they should have picked a slightly taller actor. Not necessarily as tall as Harm but taller than Sergei. Second bringing in a brother isn't that hard to do - all the guy needed was a green card not citizenship.   don't know how many of you remember CatMom but she was around for a lot of years - a great Harm lover (I know not hard) and a wonderful support off group to a lot of people.
  
  She was a fantastic source of info when I used to write fanfic - and is a generous soul.
  
  a few weeks ago she was in a serious car accident - she's been in intensive care, on a respirator and is facing a LONG road to recovery.
  
  Her husband is keeping up her facebook page and asking for prayers daily. CatMom is very frustrated and in a great deal of pain.
  
  So everyone who believes in the power of prayer - please ad catmom to the list !

  I am reaching out to whoever is the administrator of this page because I am a fellow Jag fan who would like to see a reunion movie. Recently I have made a few friends who share the same goal. One of which brought up a well thought case. She said that in order to gain more viewers for the fanbase of Jag it would help to have the reruns back on the air. As of right now we have fan pages asking for fellow fans to petition and sign for Jag to be back on the air. If we can get this beloved naval show back on for at least the reruns this will help gain new viewers and fans. In the long run we hope to have a Jag reboot.   Some things will simply never get old.
  
  Last month I released a new romance series. This last week some advertising kicked in and sales started climbing in the Clean and Wholesome category (see where I'm going with this Jenks)
  
  I keep records of ranking and at first I wrote the whole thing out, then the last couple of days I've been doing Clean&W and today -
  
  yeah well - Today we had 4 CW - 7 CW and 9 CW LOL. Of course I thought of Harm, the curb in Paraguay, the fruitstand. Bless Commander WInkie -

  • This is one of my favorite episodes - a good story with lots of great dialogue between Harm and Mac and that very memorable courtroom scene! I loved how they continued to mention it every so often throughout the show - I believe Bud once mentioned to Harm about that time he had 'aerated' the ceiling. I can't believe this was almost 20 years ago now - I just wrote a little ficlet the other day where I mentioned it.   I've been having a JAGathon this evening with watching my season 4 dvd and I've been having a great laugh at certain moments such as Buds and Harriet trying to get Bud into his santa suit, the Admiral playing with the robot, Chloe mentioning Mac's fantasies to Harm. Mac's comment about 'Mind if I strip it down?' 'huh?' 'your pistol? mind if I clean it?' (lol my pervy mind). Plus there are great moments in earlier and later seasons. I love the scene from 'What If' where they are arguing in court and mac goes 'Your honour he didn't make the bed in two years' and when they are at the house 'I could sell tickets to this museum of adolescene and from season one 'You want me to put in my report that we were chasing little green men sir?' What are your favourite moments?

  Full Engagement from season two, first seen on February 21, 1997. While on their day off, Harm takes Mac for a flight in his vintage airplane, only to be forced to make an emergency landing in a mountain clearing because of mechanical problems. While in search of help, they unwittingly surprise a band of poachers who have just murdered a game warden and who are now determined to kill Harm and Mac. Their lives in jeopardy, Harm and Mac must utilize every evasive military maneuver they've ever learned in order to escape the murderers who are now hunting them.

  missing JAG in every form. Makes me just forget the idea of a reunion. At least we have ff.net, our memories and CD's for reliving the (mostly) wonderful show. I decided early this year, I would read every ff.net entry from the very first to the current stories. HaHaHa Got off to a great start and find I'm only on page 39...still a ways to go, but am enjoying my journey. Know I've reread some stories, and find I've missed some (or forgot I read them. Have built somewhat of a library "Favorites" of authors ~~ so far it seems all stories are intact....Hope all is well with everyone and it's nice to see names of new folks.

  • It always made me laugh when they showed them in so many social situations in uniform. I'm a veteran and my husband is still in the Navy. Military people do not wear their uniforms that much! Many even change at work before they go home, but that is just one of many little details (and big details) they got wrong (and don't get me started on NCIS).   Deja Vu from season one, first shown on Oct. 21, 1995 the fifth episode in the series. After the body of a Naval Officer is found at Arlington National Cemetery following a reception at a French embassy, Harm and Meg are called to investigate. Meanwhile, a new acquaintance prompts Harm to reminisce of a female friend in Vietnam, who was murdered by her country's military.
  
  Also in this episode we hear and see in flashbacks about Harm's 'trip' to Vietnam when he was 16, to look for his father. Do you think the story was believable? If he hadn't gone to Vietnam when he was 16 do you think he would have gone later, possibly messing up his chance to go to the Academy? What was it that drove Harm to look for his father, the fact that he was missing or was there another factor?   Hello there, JAG fans! When the NCIS shows recently started undergoing so many cast changes, it made me a little sad and reminded me of how the whole franchise began so long ago with Harm and Mac. Due to my curiosity to see what David James Elliott and Catherine Bell are up to these days, I stumbled upon this site and I'm thrilled to see others who still remember the show. Harm and Mac remain one of my favorite ships and I have been enjoying rewatching episodes, re-reading JAG fanfic, and also writing some of my own ficlets.   Written Steven Zito, directed by Bradford May, first aired April 29, 2005. With Harm being sent to London and Mac to San Diego, they must sort out their personal feelings quickly. Bud must decide what he will do with his career when both Harm and Mac want him to come with them to their new stations. Vukovic is told by Mac she doesn't want him on her staff and is asked to intervene when an under age teen enlists in the Marines to avenge his father's death in Afghanistan. The episode ends on a military JAG coin flip tossed by Bud Roberts, to decide whether Mac or Harm will resign their commission to be together. The actual result of the flip is unknown.

  I'm watching Rizolli and Isles - And there's a shooting victim who - surprise - was married to one of the leads twenty years ago.
  
  They were married and got an annulment except - Yep - the papers were never properly filed by the hubby's lawyer.
  
  The lead didn't just 'forget' to get around to it. Mac not bothering to file for a divorce was the stupidest thing I'd ever heard. All that had to happen was the ex had to show up and announce 'oops' we're still married and the whole thing would have worked - sigh
  
  okay - complaint rant over - it is what it is - but still I really wish we could go back and fix all the dumb things the Gorilla did ! lol.

  Synopsis:
  Chris is found dead, Harm (representing Mac) and Mic (representing Mac's mentor and lover, Lt. Colonel John Farrow) clash when Mic's defense strategy places the blame on Mac. Farrow claims he deliberately killed Chris, while Mac claims that she killed Chris. Chris' bookie testifies that Mac accidentally killed Chris when he pulled a gun on her. Cmdr. Lindsey leads the military's prosecution and permanently alienates himself from the JAG regulars.
  
  This is one of the few episodes with scenes shot on location. Should their have been more episodes like this? What other locations would you have liked to see Harm and Mac visit?

  Harm is hiding in plain sight this week. Where is he(what episode)? And what's he's going to do next? When his partner commented "Not much room in here", Harm replied, "you wear a fighter cockpit".   When Lt. Rivers ("Above And Beyond") seemingly kills a 14-year-old boy during a training exercise, Harm and Mac must defend him before a "kangaroo court" of government separatists. The SEALs were diverted from their normal training ground in an effort by FBI agent Al Grenin to involve them in the hunt for fugitive Warren Toobin. Harriet Sims is promoted to the grade of Lieutenant (junior grade).
  
  One of the few episodes that Harm and Mac wear sweaters as part of the uniform. Also an episode with a guest star. What did you think when there was a guest star? Did it help the show or hinder it? Which guest star did you like the best? Which one would you have liked to see again? Is there someone you wished had made an appearance on JAG that didn't?

• Legacies / Open Doors (AO3) -- Pixie, 11:27:00 08/08/16 Mon
  I wanted to let everybody know that I'm considering porting the contents of the Legacies archive to the Archive of Our Own via their Open Doors project. It's been years since I've had the time to actively engage with the archive, and while I haven't minded maintaining the costs, I'm at a point where I need to think about dropping that monthly expense. Porting the stories to the AO3 will mean that fandom will still have access to them, while allowing me to take down the current website.
  
  The archive will stay where it is for several months. My plan right now is to switch it over to the AO3 next summer. If you or anybody you know has stories at the archive and wants to talk about what's involved in the upcoming transition, please shoot me an email.
  
  I am still, and will always be, a JAG fan. I'm just one with less time to write and enjoy fic.

  • What a great lineup of episodes! Right about where INSP is now, in the middle of the series before everyone went crazy. I can't think of a better way to improve my outlook on life but then to sit down and watch Harm fly. I must admit, even though I didn't like the story line the best flying is when he was crop dusting, a lot of it had to do with the fabulous music. I really miss JAG.   The unidentified body of a young girl strikes a nerve in Harm, and he pulls out all the stops to find out who she was and why someone killed her, as Harriet deals with her own emotions regarding the case. Bud is given his lawyer insignia. Harm and Lt. Coulter (Trisha Yearwood) go to Maryland where they identify the dead girl and find her sister. The end of the episode gave the phone number for the National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse.
  
  Did you know that Trisha Yearwood played Lieutenant Commander Teresa Coulter in six episodes? 'The Return of Jimmy Blackhorse' (S3), 'Nobody's Child' (S4), 'Shakedown' (S4), 'Body Talk' (S5), 'Past Tense' (S6), and 'In Country' (S7).
  
  Would Lt. Coulter have been a good addition to the ensemble as a regular?
