Subject: Oh Chief :) and the few who still post

Scrolling down I realize how much I miss because folks post on threads down the page -

Since we've all gotten used to facebook that rolls things up to the top when someone new comments on a thread - Does anyone besides me think that changing the setting on the HB so that a comment rolls a thread to the top might be a good experiment?

[> [> I'm pretty sure it is an option with voy. I however, don't read Facebook that way. I keep mine set to chronological and I scroll down to where I left off. I'm always days behind. (story of my life LOL). -- JJ Ronda, 06:18:24 05/20/15 Wed

[> [> [> oh wow - I didn't know that was an option on facebook - I'm going to have to go find it - because I get tired of seeing the same thing over and over every time a new commnent is left ! :) At lest when it's something I don't give a rats patoody about :) -- chris k, 17:39:07 05/23/15 Sat

[> [> [> [> On the top left of your home page there is a list and "newsfeed" is at the top with a little arrow next to it. Click the arrow and a box comes up with two options. Change it to "most recent" and then it should keep everything chronological. -- JJ Ronda--The accountant in me wants everything in order, not whatever Facebook deems is most important., 06:21:47 05/27/15 Wed

[> [> [> [> [> [> FYI--FB will randomly change it back every so often. They seem to insist that you at least LOOK at what they consider to be "top stories". So I make a point of changing it right back to "recent stories" because I'm stubborn like that. LOL -- JJ Ronda, 18:58:35 05/27/15 Wed

[> [> Checking in on this.... Sorry I missed it earlier. YES, we can set the board to pop messages to the top whenever they are commented on. In the early days, when it was really busy, we set it to NOT do that because we felt that it was best to keep things "newest on top". Especially in the archives. Now that it's not as busy, it's worth experimenting with the pop-up format. That way we won't miss anything if someone comments on an older post. I'll put an informal poll at the top to gather input. -- The Chief, 16:50:08 06/10/15 Wed
