Look 's like two's company and three's a crowd, Harm seems to be the odd man out.

Dashing, debonair, delicious, delectable, those are words to describe Harm. However it seems entrap, assault, and waylay are more appropriate for Harm in this episode.

Harm's had a few "bad" cases, so his co-workers are trying to "help".

Harriet thought a good book might do the trick Tiner provided a more "saintly" incentive.

Even the Admiral was concerned with Harm's recent case performance but changed his mind and Mac ended up with the case of Capt. Frutt.

Trivia - exterior shots of the plane came from the movies Air Force One with Harrison Ford and Executive Decision with Kirk Russell.

I saw a description for this episode as "a JAG epsiode with more than usual amounts of 'plot' holes". Do you agree? Did JAG episodes have 'plot holes'? Can you name some?

Mutiny

Season six, a period episode. Mac is preparing a for lecture at the Naval Academy about the USS Somers. This is one of those episodes we got to see our favorite actors in another character. Everyone except Harm. This is the only scene of him in period dress and there were very few of him at JAG Headquarters. Does this episode go into the "never watch again" memory banks or I'll watch it just to see the 'out of character' acting and the period costumes memory banks?

- i've seen this as a methaphor, a signal, a message to Mac, this vision was giving her a message to open her eyes more her heart so I haven't hated this episode au contraire I've seen a shipper message this vision in my opinion was telling her to quit Brumby so she could have Harm and so Harm could have her.If she marry Brumby she would be unhappy ( and not in REAL love : means Harm ) and Harm also would be unhappy, sad, at a point it'll bring him to death. - I remember several fanfictions that included Georgetown as the place he received his law degree. In a "history" of Harm that had episode references (I copied from another website) it does not mention Georgetown. I also have a JAG timeline (also copied from another website) it only mentions law school and calculates when he would have attended based on known information it does not mention Georgetown specifically. We've come to the end of Season Premiere week with what I think was the most difficult one to watch. Not at all what we had hoped for or expected. On September 26, 2003 season nine premiere with A Tangled Webb, part II. This was episode number 183 in the series.

Harm and Mac must escape pursuers determined to kill them, while also sorting through their feelings. Gunny Galindez must get an injured Webb to a hospital before he dies. At the end of the episode, there is a tribute to Trevor Goddard.

Harm: (to Mac) I forgot how beautiful you are.

Mac: Things are never gonna work out between us.

September 25, 2001 season seven premiere Adrift, part II. This was episode number 135 in the series.

Harm is rescued and Skates revives him in sick bay. His rescue is complicated by amnesia and Mac makes a choice not to set another wedding date. Mic moves out of her apartment, feeling that their relationship is failing. Skates visits Harm at Bethesda Naval Hospital and tells him that she is returning to the fleet. Mac visits Harm at home and they try again to discuss their relationship. Mic rings and tells Mac that he feels that she has made her choice and that he is going back to Australia. Mac follows him to the Dulles airport and just misses him. She phones Harm in tears and he asks her come back to his apartment. However, Renee beats her to it, with the news that her (Renee's) father has died. Harm tells Mac that they can't talk now and she is left in the alley alone, as rain starts to fall.

Harm: Come to me...

Mac: I need a better reason...

Harm: You know the reason.

- That was one of the most emotionally chock full eps ever. AND, because it was 2001, we had to wait an extra week to see it because of 9/11. We'd spent the entire summer on the board "resucing" Harm in various ways and with numerous round-robin stories and all sorts of discussion. Our second season premier for September 23 was eighteen years ago (1997) when season three began with Ghost Ship. This episode introduced us to the letter tapes Harm's Dad sent from Vietnam. They were to play an important part in many episodes through out the series. This episode brought Harm a step closer to finding his father.

After a skeleton is discovered in the hull of a decommissioned Navy carrier, Harm becomes obsessed with discovering a link between the body and his missing father.

On a lighter side the show ended with this exchange between Harm and Mac:
Harm: I slept the first day, but after that, the nurse threatened to tie me down if I so much as stuck my nose out the door.
Mac: Kinky.
Harm: Yellow light, Major.
Mac: Oh come on, Harm, haven't we reached the point where we can drop the traffic signals?
Harm: Absolutely. Have I ever told you why a female Marine is like the Energizer Bunny?
Mac: On second thought, let's not.

Second premiere episode on September 24 was in 2004 with Hail and Fairwell part 2. In what turned out to be the last season, season 10, this episode was number 206 in the series.

Sturgis is named Acting JAG; Mac is unable to accept that Clayton Webb is dead and investigates the circumstances surrounding his death. Mac and Harm track a still-alive Webb to his family's beachfront house and discover that undercover MI6 agent Simon Tanveer is a deadly assassin known only as "The Hawk". Mac breaks up with Webb, unwilling to live with the lies of their relationship.

Best we can say about this episode is we saw Harm in his whites, and he played his guitar. Anything else to add?

Premiering thirteeen years ago today, September 24, 2002 was Critial Condition. The beginning of season eight, episode number 159 in the series. Hopes were running high for a Harm and Mac connection after In Country in season seven.

As Bud fights for his life in the aftermath of being caught in a landmine while attempting to save a young Afghan boy from a minefield while in Afghanistan with Coates which has left Bud himself badly wounded and near death, the JAG team, having learnt of Bud's accident pause to reflect on what Bud means to them while Harm, Mac and Coates eagerly await the outcome of Bud's surgery and as this happens, back in Washington D.C., both Admiral Chegwidden and Lieutenant Singer testify before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence about the "dirty bomb" attack that was stopped in "Enemy Below" with the outcome eventually costing Alexander Nelson his job as SECNAV.

This was a season with such hopes, only to have them dashed. The beginning of the end some said. What do you think?

Twenty years ago today, September 23, 1995 this wonderful journey began with JAG - A New Life.

Lt. Harmon Rabb Junior flew onto the Seahawk and into our lives and things have not been the same since. From the first episode, I don't think anyone had a clue how Harmon Rabb would affect our lives, make us a family, but here we are twenty years later celebrating episode number one!

When a female US Navy F-14 Radar Intercept Officer is killed at sea, Lt. Harmon Rabb and his partner Lt. (j.g.) Caitlin "Kate" Pike must find out who tossed her overboard. The episode takes place aboard the fictional carrier USS Seahawk (usually depicted in the series by the real life USS Enterprise (CVN-65)). It includes the first appearance of Bud Roberts (played by Patrick Labyorteaux) as the Seahawk's Public Relations Officer. This episode also includes the first appearance of Michael Bellisario, who would later play the character of Mike "Mikey" Roberts, Bud Roberts's younger brother, although at this point he is the little boy named Antonio in the small boat in the opening scene. Harm flies as RIO for Captain Boone, and miraculously pilots the F-14 on a landing when Boone is injured.

Did you fall in love at first sight or did it take a few episodes? Now that we have perspective, would you change the pilot episode? If so, how. Just out of curiosity, did JAG and Harmon Rabb change your life? If so how?

It's premiere week in the US, time for new shows and new episodes of our favorite shows. So let's take a look back at the premiers of our FAVORITE show!
Sixteen years ago today, September 21, 1999 King of the Greenie Board first aired. It was episode one of season five, number 86 in the series.

Harm's back flying a Tomcat with Skates as his RIO, however, Lt. Buxton, a hot-shot pilot, is making things difficult for him. Mac is promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. Mac's case involving a Marine who drank too much before testing a new weapons system brings a new member to the office. At the end of the episode, Lt. Buxton fires on what he believes are Serbian armored vehicles. Back on the carrier, Buxton is confronted by a Russian officer who tells him he in fact blew up a Russian armored vehicles.

Which did you prefer Harm the pilot or Harm the lawyer? Was this episode a good start to the season or just another episode? Mac is promoted in this episode and now outranks Harm, was this a problem? Plus we were introduced to a new character, Gunny. Was he a good addition to the ensemble? What do your remember about the start of season five?

- I just watched this double episode and it's hard to say whether Harm the aviator or Harm the lawyer. He was chomping at the bit to "assist" in the case and prove that as an aviator, one had to take risks. That being said, I thought there was humor in the fact that Mac was now higher in rank. The intro of Gunny was a good addition to the staff, especially with Bud having to get used to Harriet not being there. I think Gunny finding the card helped Bud out with the transition, too. It's premier week in the US, time for new shows and new episodes of our favorite shows. So let's take a look back at the premiers of our FAVORITE show!
Seventeen years ago today, September 22, 1998 Gypsy Eyes first aired. It was the beginning of season four, episode number 62 in the series. We finally had an answer to the season three "cliff hanger" did Harm and Mac survive being shot down.

With a voice-over, Harm updates the viewer on his search for his father up to the previous episode. The Russians claim Harm and Mac died while on a demo ride in a MIG-29. The truth is they punched out before the plane went down. They encounter a Gypsy brother and sister, Vasya and Rusza, who take them by wagon to a train station and dress them up as gypsies. Rusza has a vision in which Russian soldiers rape her and kill Harm before he can save her. Harm is convinced the vision will not come true. At the train station, before Harm and Mac can get on the train to Lubyanka, they are detected by Falcon. After some hesitation, they decide to trust him and let him take them back to Moscow, where they find Chegwidden, Agent Webb and Alexei, who is in reality a double agent most loyal to the CIA, who pay him best. Harm and Mac finally arrive in Svischevo, where they meet a woman who cared for Harm Sr. after he escaped from Vorkuta. The woman tells a story which is the same as Rusza's vision, except with Harm Sr. instead of Harm Jr., and herself instead of Rusza. The woman says Harm Sr. died and was buried in the Taiga.

As you probably know, a standard office memo can take on a life of its own. It generates one or more replies. Then replies to the replies begin to follow. Soon memos are going back and forth in a wild round robin. Our JAG office memo game is the same. I am starting the memo below. The next poster replies in a memo format. Then each additional poster continues and builds on the story with another memo from a JAG character. We are not limiting the memos to any particular time in the series, so you can use any character, even those who didn�t actually work at JAG headquarters. Be as creative, witty or zany as you wish with your memos.
One more thing -- Please sign your board name. We didn�t use to do that with this game, but now I�m encouraging you to also give GRABBs for the best memos. I won�t know who to credit with a GRABB if I don�t have your board name. Everyone � help us keep the board alive and join in the fun!

- I watched True Callings and you could just see Harm chomping at the bit about the young seaman's case while also torn about his flying. It's kind of sad when you think about the fact that Harm would neverr have a squadron under his command because he just couldn't catch up with the younger guys. I've been having a JAGathon this evening with watching my season 4 dvd and I've been having a great laugh at certain moments such as Buds and Harriet trying to get Bud into his santa suit, the Admiral playing with the robot, Chloe mentioning Mac's fantasies to Harm. Mac's comment about 'Mind if I strip it down?' 'huh?' 'your pistol? mind if I clean it?' (lol my pervy mind). Plus there are great moments in earlier and later seasons. I love the sceane from 'What If' where they are arguing in court and mac goes 'Your honour he didn't make the bed in two years' and when they are at the house 'I could sell tickets to this museam of adolecene' and from season one 'You want me to put in my report that we were chasing little green men sir?' What are your favourite moments?

Of course I love all the Harm and Mac scenes. However some of the earlier scenes with Bud are hysterical. In the episode Vanished all the Bermuda Triangle talk. When Bud made the symbol of a triangle with his hand when they first got on the boat, and Harm teasing Bud about a secret Navy vortex that sucks ships and planes like"rubber duckies". I have another moment that had me almost wetting myself with laughter with the episode 'Silent Service' (I'm watching it right now) when the master cheif was explaining to Mac how to use the head that was a priceless moment.. And then there was Harm's conversation with Bud when Bud asks him what's it like to be on a sub and Harm tells him that when he goes home to remove all of his fresh fruit and vegetables, but oil in the air conditioning and sleeping on a shelve in his wardrobe. There's a season ten episode where Cresswell says something about JAG being like working in an institution. That cracked Mary (of the numbers) and me up when we were watching it at Judi's. Bud singing Delilah was pretty funny. Also when Harm and Mac are in a courtroom overseas and he says if he messes up protocol for her to just kick him. What about the scene in "Rogue" when Harm meets up with his old buddy, Raglan, at the bar and Raglan lifts Harm's wallet during their hand shake. Raglan thinks he's got it all going on, but when he opens his own wallet, there's nothing in it but a note that says "arrest this man" in Harm's handwriting LOL (at least, I THINK that's what happens!       he does 'you're good' to Mac when she figures it out - it's all just in the order of the dialogue - It's just when she tells him to pay up he says (to quote it properly this time), "I'm good for it..." People vs Mac from season four, first shown on Nov. 17, 1998. This episode is the only one I remember having scenes actually shots in Washington DC. Deja Vu from season one, first shown on Oct. 21, 1995. The fifth episode in the series, we hear and see in flashbacks about Harm's 'trip' to Vietnam to look for his father. Do you think the story was believable? If he hadn't gone to Vietnam when he was 16 do you think he would have gone later, possibly messing up his chance to go to the Academy? What was it that drove Harm to look for his father, the fact that he was missing or was there another factor? - The first and last photos his mom looks so hurt. First finding out Harm Sr might be alive in Russia and then finding out her husband had a child while in Russia. The middle one she looks so happy, it was after she and Frank renewed their vows. I remember thinking 'I wonder how she felt finding out Harm Sr was alive and she had remarried'. I wonder if that whole story line is why Harm had a difficult time committing to someone. He didn't want to leave a wife with the agony his mom went through. Check out the MB and the pics of HAE in his new role for the movie 'Battle Scars' which was just featured at the GI Film Festival in Washington DC. On CindyG's fordjefans website are 2 pics which, imo, could definitely be images of our beloved Harm today. This is a role where HAE is retired military. I know Mr. HAE was trying to get away from being typecast, but I think it's not so much that he can't act beyond a certain range, but more he just looks the part of a squared-away fit and authoritative officer. It suits him very well and if ever a JAG reunion should happen, it's great news HAE still looks so great and our beloved Harm can still be there and I think the other original characters need and can be there, imo!
