Subject: POLL: Board format

It has been asked if this board format can be set to put the most-recently-commented on post at the top, and yes, it can.

The benefit - seeing the most recent comments, without having to scroll down and look at EVERY post to see if there have been new interactions.

The drawback - posts will be out of chronological order.

Think about how you use the board, what you look for when you come here, etc., and respond.

YES or NO to changing the order posts appear on the board?

[> NO is my vote. I get aggravated with Facebook style, because I have trouble figuring out how far down I got last time. -- Deemus, 18:10:29 06/10/15 Wed

[> [> [> Thank you again, JJ Ronda. I changed my Facebook setting, and I like it much better the way you suggested. My son set me up on FB two years ago, and I didn't realize what different things could be done. -- Deemus, 13:35:30 06/12/15 Fri

[> [> [> [> [> Yes--I've discovered I have to reset every time I go in. It's not long, just three iPad taps, but it's a bit annoying that FB thinks it always knows what you want! (Oh, I know, it's what THEY want, not what YOU want!) -- Deemus, still struggling to join the 21st century, 12:56:27 06/14/15 Sun

[> No. I also like scrolling down as it invites me to drool at the gorgeous pics that have been lovingly posted of Harm which I sometimes don't have time to look at until later. :) -- mj, 03:37:45 06/11/15 Thu

[> No, I like to keep things chronological so I know where I left off. Thats actually how I usually read Facebook as well. I hate Facebook's default setting! -- JJ Ronda, 06:34:58 06/11/15 Thu

[> No for me too. Like to see what the latest is and can always scroll down if I think I missed something. -- Lois, 13:12:50 06/11/15 Thu

[> I think I'm the only stick in the mud who would like to try it out - Part of my reason is because there isn't always a lot of activity on the board - and if comments are easier to find it might create more interaction with lurkers - If it doesn't work we can always change back - I know years ago it didn't work - but now - I can't help but think nowadays it might be a good shake up -- chris k, 19:16:57 06/12/15 Fri
