Buddy

Re your question about long passes in the last game...I came across the following in an article on the CBS Sportsline site.

--Coming off a game in which Garcia passed for 331 yards, Mariucci was in the 49ers' weight room Tuesday when he struck up a conversation with WR Terrell Owens.

"Did you realize, we didn't throw a pass longer than 12 yards down the field?" Mariucci asked his star receiver.

"Yes, we did," Owens replied.

But Mariucci was adamant. "No we didn't," he shot back.

"What about the pass I threw?" Owens responded.

True. Mariucci admitted his mistake. Owens threw a pass to Tai Streets on a reverse that traveled about 20 yards down the field and resulted in a 15-yard gain.
