Mike Shumann just reported from the 49ers sidelines that during the entire game that T.O.,Garcia and a number of offensive players have been YELLING and SCREEMING at Mooch and Knapp questioning the play calling(they obviously don't respect his coaching abilities although he is universally respected as a person and all around nice guy).They have been very unhappy with Moochball as have I for quite a while now!!!
If Rhodes resigned from Denver then maybe he and Dennis Green are on their way back home to the Niners.Let's hope there is a huge change in the coaching staff (I will leave the "who" to Bill Walsh and Donahue)! Even if the new staff doesn't work out as hoped then really how could it get much worse than Mooch and his staff have been?(it could be worse but the odds are that it will improve with a new staff) Time for a change!Unlike Mooch with 42 seconds to go in the 1st half I hope York and Donahue and Walsh have not GIVEN UP and that they at least try to improve the coaching staff.Yes our players were beaten by the Bucs players but we can get players healthy and can draft new players and sign free agents but if we don't upgrade from a little league coaching staff to a real NFL caliber staff then will it really matter when we face the NFL elite teams with their NFL caliber coaching staffs? I have been saying this for years,not just because we lost this game so pathetically.Unfortunantly (as much as I wish it wasn't so)I have been proven right! O line,WR,Corner,and especially pass rush must be upgraded before next season.I just hope they upgrade the coaching staff so they can keep up with the talented team they will have! TIM
