So time to look ahead. I hope the mooch situation works out, but if it doesn't I really hope we get some draft picks out of it. I love garcia and I still think he's a winner but he has at best two solid years left. Any thoughts about drafting rex grossman next year. I think he will be a mid-late first rounder depending on how he does in the combines but I think he will turn out to be the best qb in the class. He makes some bad mistakes sometimes and always had good receivers but I think he would fit the 49ers system perfectly. He seems to have a great feel for whats going on and makes great instinctive plays a lot and really reminds me of brett favre, I think after a year or so on the bench he will be an excellent qb in the nfl, I hope we look at him. We must get a gamebreaking corner or wide receiver either through the draft or free agency. If we do inheret some draft picks how about trading one away for a solid veteran who can help immediately. Another available corner who everyone seems to think is done is aenieas williams, I would have a hard time believing he has nothing left, he killed us a couple of times recently.
