You know I am getting a little peed off with the whining from the press, and most of all, the NFL Commissioner regarding the so called botched play at the end of the game (missed pass interference).

Maybe I have a rather perverted logic, but the way I look at it, if the NFL want a rule change they should state:

Pass Interferance should not be called on any player If an illegal receiver is down field.

An illegal receiver down field makes it impossible for the D to do their job properly for even if it doesn't take another player away from doing his job, it is at least a distraction.

I somehow get the feeling if the roles were reversed, sure we would still be upset, but this would have been the rationalization from the head office.

Sure hope our OL is recovered enough this week to allow us to run the ball effectively. As much as I loved the Garcia ball last sunday, I can't see it being as equally effective this week. Anyway it now gives the TB D even more to work on this week.

Garcia had an incredible game, a career game in fact, but if I was to give out the game ball it would have to be to Owens. As much as the guy can tick me off at times, it wasn't his half time speach that got the 9er's pumped up, it was his attitude after his 1st TD in the 3rd Q. He not only got the entire O to believe they can win, he convinced them that they are damn well going to win. I also give Kudos to Peterson. I think he helped spark the D to reach the levels of intensity that the Offense were rising to. Finally of course the fans certainly played their role too. In Tampa they won't have that fan support. The Giants game was won by HEART, and luck, the next game will have to be won by Heart, and discipline.
