Anybody know what Webster's and Winborn's status is for this Sunday's game?

After the defense performance in the past few games the national media has been ripping the 49ers defense, but I remember that in the early part of the season most of the media was talking about how good the defense was.

What changed? Nothing except for some key players getting injured.

My point is that defense is not as bad as its stats say it is. At different times through the year Jaime Winborn, Zach Bronson, Ahmed Plummer, Jason Webster and John Keith have all missed time. Not to mention not having Kevin Curtis who I saw at Texas Tech and I think can be a good player for the 49ers.

When the 49ers defense is healthy it is a good defense.
