Is Winborn ready to play or what? One minute I hear he is practicing, next I read he is doubtful for the game. We really need his help on defense if we are to go far.

I have to believe the 9ers are not done retooling that team? Becaause they are to many ? marks at different positions. The thing is a lot of the players who are starting are second stringers, who are overachieving, kind a like putting on a blind fold and walking from one side of the room to the other without bumping into anything. They somehow manage not to make to many mistakes, but as we have seen, it is catching up to them.

I look foward to the offseason, but perhaps they can go farther then expected in the playoffs.

Anyway HAPPY NEW YEARS! And may 2003 turns out to be a better year for everyone, including the 9ers.
