Tank - Walsh said Garcia had maxed out and then, as Garcia continued to improve over the next few weeks, he came out and said that he had far exceeded his expecations. What's the logic here? Because a guy is hired for the mail room he has to stay there the rest of his career, even though he demonstrates the ability to run your finance department? Walsh hired Garcia as an intended backup, same way St. Louis hired Kurt Warner as an intended backup. The shit happened, and they both turned into Pro-Bowlers. How dare they, right?

Sydney - The Rams showed "that they still reign dominance over us"? What game were you watching? We passed the Rams this season, and we'll continue to put distance between us and them over the next several seasons. Mark my words.

I love where we are right now. We stink, basically. Lousiest, most boring offense in the league. Clueless coaches. Sissy, walking-wounded secondary. No killer instinct. No fourth-quarter stamina. QB who chokes in the big games. Facing the hottest team in the NFC. The Farty Niners. "Team Most Expected to Go One and Out in The Playoffs."

Yep. I love it.

I bet Terrell Owens, whom one respected scribe this week described as being "to offense what Lawrence Taylor was to defense", loves it too. I bet Kevan Barlow, who's going to have a 150-yard day next Sunday, loves it.

If this team does not make it to the NFC Championship Game, AT THE VERY LEAST, I will eat a hat.

Keep the faith.
