I think it's plainly obvious that despite having "winning" dancers these schools must feel threatened by the other competitors to the point they need to saturate social media with their own dancers' melons so they're "recognised" by the adjudicators. I even saw a UK school posting their dancer with their number in full view on the morning of their section at Worlds - seriously, do you not have enough belief in your dancer that they can make it on their own merit if they're supposedly so good?? It's even got to the point some schools are attending interstate local feis' purely because the adjudicator is judging at their own States. Just insane! Let the dancing speak for itself and stop trying to surreptitiously "sway" judging to your own advantage.

  • LOL this topic comes up at every States & Nationals. Do you seriously think the adjudicators scroll through every schools social media account to help them judge? My daughter does throwbacks of last year's States as she gets very excited at this time of the year and I'm guessing all schools do as well. If I owned a school and had a number of State/National/World Champions I would be using them at every opportunity to promote my dance school, not to promote any kind of dishonesty. Social media is a free marketing tool that can target the required audience in large numbers. (NT) -- No amount of proof will satisfy the conspiracy theorist., Tue, Aug 06 2019, 14:20:22"
