Venues are expensive, flights are expensive, musicians and adjudicators are expensive. Everything has gone up in price. In reply to: Need to sell a kidney 😳 's message, "Just looking at purchasing our tickets for nationals and the price is mind blowing $65 each per day for individual days as we only need two days and then ceili tickets and a program is over $300 for just two and our dancers, then entry, travel costs and accommodation and this adds up to approx $4500 and that does not include food , etc for the week.
