- If your family is not interested in participating in the state championships this year, then don’t. But I don’t see why your preference to step back from competing should mean that everyone else should miss out too. If AIDA branches organise a championship it gives people the option to participate. If some families see summer sports or other end of year activities as more important, that’s okay. But for some families, Irish dancing is their only sport. Zero infections in NSW for a week now. If numbers stay like this I don’t see why the Government wouldn’t allow mass gatherings by Spring. Wish everyone would download the Covid app, we’ll get restrictions lifted much faster if the majority of Australians have it. Contact tracing would be much easier for them in a hall of 100 people.
