Scarlet nymph glances quickly to the chestnut stud, large, expressive pools of liquid duskiness wide and searching, wary. Relaxing ever so slightly as memory flooded back, she stood still warily, waiting. Ebon-tipped ears swiveling in all directions, she walked easily over to him and Death, coal-hued pistons moving in strides smooth and graceful, effortless as though the vile disease had never tinnied her rich hide with its false brightness. Sun gleamed off the deep, burnished ruby of her hide, wind rushing through raven locks, whirling and twirling them about to create a vision of burning crimson and flowing sable silk. Though beautiful, there was in her face a kind of dread and fear, a strange despair in her eyes. She halted near the two and spoke, clear golden tones ringing from her in a rich, throaty chorus of trumpets, ~I...I am all right.~ But the strange look 'pon her features betrayed her.
