There seems to be a lot of sick, smiteful, weak, spineless, jealous, uniformed, uneducated, mean individuals trying to bash Lindley Mayer. This is my first time to even review such trash. You should not judge others until who have walked in their shoes. How would you like it if people were hiding behind a computer screen saying all of the negative things you guys are saying about you? Put the shoe on the other foot, if you could ever qualify and achieve just 1/3 of the accomplishments Lindley has done on her own merits. She has overcome many obstacles that most people have never taken the time to discover which has made her the better person. She is the most qualified candidate to become Miss South Carolina at this point. This is why those of you writing all the junk about her are so upset.
Find a better way to try to discredit someone, such as true facts not your opinions. Did Jesus the creator of all things create you? What gives you the right to critize someone's physical features? There is a family connected to each contestant and they do not deserve to be hurt by your comments. An attorney would not stop you as you have no scrupples, while you have your finger pointed at Lindley remember there are three pointed back at you. God will forgive you and so will Lindley and her family as you are all idiots and nothing good would come from holding any grudges against you and your stupidity. Lindley is not only beautiful on the outside but the inside as well. Unlike you folks trying to destroy her. What has she done to you or anyone for the matter? She is a brave, talented, wholesome young lady. You are correct about one thing, she just could very well be the next Miss South Carolina 2010.

Folks please lets stay focused. If you refuse to compete in current conditions or until explained. Ask about conditions why certain folks can compete??? where money goes...why do we write check for costumes to Miss sc not Jay White? Why if gala is a benefit for scholorships do we write those checks to Miss SC not Spartanburg Foundation? Where do tax evasion charges stand???where did allegid charges against Joey and Anita go? why did she get to direct and be state nurse? why could he be at the office with contestants? why could he drive contestants to their camp sites? Why are contestants in SC pushed to sell thirty of more ads and this does not happed in any other state? WHAT IS THE DEAL????REFUSE TO DO IT! WAIT FOR THE ANSWERS. does a crown mean that much? Wow this will be another eventful year... Miss South Carolina will end up making the tabloids again!Why do we have different standards for different girls? Why do we all continue to show up and support such controversy! Can we not see we are losing the support of South carolina. I went to Miss Laurens, where Miss SC teen is from... it didnt look like 100 people were there. very few contestants.....

I competed with her, and she is an amazing young woman with a great talent. I really hope that things are done fairly and that the best contender for Miss America will win. Subject: FACT-Lindley's driver's license is a South Carolina license that was originally issued in 2004. Her LEGAL residence is Greenville, SOUTH CAROLINA! It has never changed to a CA license! It was accordingly in 2004 per the SCDMV requirements and is vlid through 2018! Therefore,she is a LEGAL resident of SOUTH CAROLINA. LEGAL DOCUMENTS CAN'T BE CHALLENGED! I have no dog in this fight other than knowing she is precious! Those of you who want validation, you hve it! However, don't take my word for it, research it yourself accordingly!

One of the first things I noticed was all the hype about Miss Upstate. Good grief, that makes me want to throw up! All of these girls who compete and really believe they have a fair chance needs to do a reality check. Meyer will win hands down. Folks are right, she is the chosen one. I would quit right now and let them have her and whatever income "she" and only "she" can generate for them. That is what they deserve but I know the other title holders vanity will prevail. They will think they are so good they can take her and they will trudge on. In another state that might be so but here in SC "she is the chosen one." The grand daughter they never had. Don't piss and moan at state whrn this comes to pass. You can not say you didn't know or that you were not warned!

Subject: I am an old timer. There have been a few talent performances that have taken my breath away. One of those was Christin Owens and I can say I just watched a lesser singer copy that performance down to hand, head and body movements. The dress, hair, and necklace was the same but updated. South Carolina might not have made it to talent but one of our talents was coped dead on.

If you have a daughter in the pageant and you are acting like this the devil has gotten a whole of you ,and your daughter will be a clapper in July at the end of the pageant ! .Put your best foot forward and give it your best ,if it's gods will for you to win ,you will and there is nothing anyone can do to make it different .God helps those you helps themselves .So good luck to each and every one of you !,and whomever wins was meant to be !

Subject: If Lindley had any smarts, she would have competed in California until she won that state title. Clearly California has a much better program, with people better-suited to prepare a girl for Miss America, as has been represented by Miss CA placement in the top 10 and/or 5 pretty much every year. If she wants to be Miss America, that would have been her best bet.

Did anyone else think last night's pageant resembled a circus at times? I like a little more relaxed time for the ladies but they are taking it to the extreme. Miss A has always appeared regal,sophisticated, but it is now taking on the appearence of a reality show gone bad. The whole pageant in this "theme" is lacking the spark it once had.
