- I'm sure that Analouisa is out there trying to get press coverage for herself. If other contestants want to be in the news, then they have to present a "newsworthy" story. The media isn't going to write about someone unless they have a new and fresh angle to share. (NT) -- No name, Wednesday, April 17, 07:18:24am
- Is being gay "newsworthy?" If I were gay, I would be pissed that she's using it to try and win a crown. It's simply a way of life, and it's perfectly acceptable. (NT) -- No name, Wednesday, April 17, 10:13:54pm
- I know right.... I am a FAT PERSON... and I ws so pissed that Bree used the fact that she used to be fat to win a crown! Nothing wrong with being a fat girl (NT) -- No name, Thursday, April 18, 07:02:15am
- ACCEPTABLE??? OBVIOUSLY YOU ARE NOT GAY! The South is still very homophobic. In SC you can be fired just for being gay, you can be denied an apartment just for being gay. You can be denied visiting a dying partner that you have been with for year just because you are gay. So before you start your BS about gay being acceptable, or that it is not newsworthy... walk a mile in the shoes of a southern gay person. (NT) -- No name, Thursday, April 18, 07:11:12am
- When I said "acceptable," I meant that I was okay with it. It really means nothing to me one way or the other if someone is straight or gay. I bet this is Analouisia posting. Didn't you claim that you didn't win some locals b/c you were gay? Um no, honey. You didn't win because your interview skills are lacking, your talent is subpar, and you're extremely cocky. Don't use it as an excuse, and don't use it to try and be some "hero" that you're not. LOTS of folks are gay. You're nothing special. (NT) -- No name, Thursday, April 18, 02:11:51pm
- Bitter! LOL (NT) -- No name, Thursday, April 18, 05:47:47pm
- Yep, the bitter one is YOU! (NT) -- No name, Thursday, April 18, 10:26:15pm
- Ooooo...good one! Bet you finished the 9th grade! (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 19, 06:49:51pm
- So, were you the one that didn't know when to use "a" and when to use "an?" (NT) -- No name, Saturday, April 20, 12:42:56am
- I'm pretty sure I know thost grammar rules...even you with your 9th grade education should have learned how to use indefinite articles. (NT) -- No name, Saturday, April 20, 10:25:53pm
- "Thost" grammar rules? Obviously, you don't know how to spell. My second grader knows how to spell "those." (NT) -- No name, Saturday, April 20, 11:37:32pm
- I'm not a good typist.. I have minions who do that kind of thing for me. You on the other hand are just a sad, stupid, middle school drop-out. (NT) -- No name, Sunday, April 21, 03:24:57pm
- Is that the best you've got? Come on, now. You're letting me down. (NT) -- No name, Sunday, April 21, 04:57:09pm
- You let yourself down a long time ago, honey. The rest of us expected it the day you were born. (NT) -- No name, Sunday, April 21, 06:25:02pm
- She's sad. You'll never get her to realize how sad. (NT) -- No name, Sunday, April 21, 06:28:29pm
- I'll tell you what's sad: AV's talent and interview!!! (NT) -- No name, Monday, April 22, 04:52:57pm
- No, honey, what's sad is someone who claims to respect this process and organization using confidential information to trash a young lady who has never done anything to you. That's sad. You need to just go away. We don't need you here. (NT) -- No name, Monday, April 22, 07:37:16pm
- Whatever. She needs to improve her interview skills, rather than use a story to get a crown. It takes hard work to be Miss SC. EVERYBODY has a story, not just AV. It's going to to take more than a story and publicity to win this thing. (NT) -- No name, Monday, April 22, 08:58:39pm
- Wow...you just really have it in for this young lady. Maybe she doesn't give a flip about the crown. Maybe the spokes role AFTER the pageant is her goal. Only 1 girl is going to win...everyone else better have a back-up plan. I just wish we knew who you were so everyone could be sure to avoid you as a judge. You're the epitome of what NOT to look for in a judge if your posts are any indication. (NT) -- No name, Tuesday, April 23, 01:16:59pm
- Nope, I don't have it in for her. I just want a state winner that's willing to put in the work. I haven't said anything ugly about her. All I said was that she needed to work on her interview and talent if she wants to be Miss SC. If she wants to be spokesperson, she's going to have to be friendlier, and not so cocky. Okay, I'm not going to argue with you. I stated my opinion, and said what she needs to work on. I didn't appreciate her saying that she had losts pageants in the past b/c she was gay in that article. When I judged her a couple of years back, I didn't even know that she was gay. I was just putting it out there that she more than likely has lost several prelim's b/c of her interview. To say that she has lost b/c she is gay is a cop-out, in my opinion. I don't like cop-outs, and I don't care for contestants who aren't willing to work, and want instant gratification. The article sounded like she wanted just that. (NT) -- No name, Tuesday, April 23, 09:14:21pm
- The bottom line is Analouisa is in the spotlight. Who cares what the Sourgrapes Club has to say. They always crawl out of the woodwork like roaches on this forum. If they had something going for them, they would be too busy pursuing it to attack others. In fact, they would be the ones being attacked. So all of you "mkayers" and "whateverers"...do your worst. It doesn't change the fact that Analouisa is kicking your media coverage arena butts. And to the former pageant judge: I hope you're no longer a judge. You really have bitterness issues that I'm sure interfere with your ability to be objective. (NT) -- No name, Thursday, April 25, 08:58:29am
- Analouisa and her familt have hired a Public relations media consultant to do the job of getting her interviews and public apperances. They are working with the MAO to make sure her PR is all sanctioned by the National Organization. Seems she is not only brave but smart as well ! (NT) -- No name, Wednesday, April 17, 07:42:52am
- I am sure girls from other states said the same thing about Bree Boyce when she was all over the news and Television when she was Miss SC. You either make news and make history.... or sit back and watch it being made. Way to Go Analouisa! (NT) -- No name, Wednesday, April 17, 07:57:46am
- I know Lyman was Taylor Fitch's title before she resigned. Was Analouisa 1st runner up or 2nd? I keep hearing different stories. (NT) -- No name, Wednesday, April 17, 11:19:29pm
- Don't care how much media attention she gets....she's not the WHOLE package=no crown (NT) -- No name, Thursday, April 18, 10:01:03am
- HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You dolt...it's all about whose parents will dole out the most cash. Package....hahahahahaha!!! (NT) -- No name, Thursday, April 18, 11:09:30pm
- And sadly a second rate runner-up that got a title because a girl GAVE her's UP that was a past MAOT, yea, I'll stick to my guns and say: Let her waste as much money as she wishes, it won't make her a Miss SC. Gay or Not. (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 19, 08:23:28am
- If there are 100 girls in the pageant, 98% of them are going to be losers, too. 1st runner up is just the last loser. Everyone entering this farce of a pageant is just tossing money into a pit...or rather into Ashley and Steve's pockets. (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 19, 06:43:18pm
- So, she is Miss Lyman only by default? And she and her mom are on here causing all of this drama? Oh, wow! (NT) -- No name, Saturday, April 20, 12:45:01am
- So you're Analouisa? No? Then her Mom? No? Oh, then you're a lying troublemaker. I see. Stop accusing others of the things you are doing. It makes you sound stupid. (NT) -- No name, Saturday, April 20, 08:16:00pm
- Um, no. I'm definitely not Analouisa (thank God), and I'm definitely not her mom (thank God again). I'm not lying, just pointing out the obvious, that they're the ones on here keeping the shit stirred up. (NT) -- No name, Saturday, April 20, 11:39:33pm
- No, you're lying. You have no more idea who is posting than any of the rest of us. That makes you both a liar and a trouble-maker...precisely what you were accusing others of doing. Cast the first stone, you hypocrite. (NT) -- No name, Sunday, April 21, 03:27:11pm
- Talk all you want. Say all you want. We'll see how much you get on here and talk after state, hypocrit. (NT) -- No name, Sunday, April 21, 04:59:29pm
- I don't give a flip. You're the one making all of the fuss. One beauty queen is about the same as another. I just like to read this stuff to see how far from the image Miss SC girls fall from the MAO brand. It's really funny! (NT) -- No name, Sunday, April 21, 06:27:18pm
- Re: I don't give a flip. You're the one making all of the fuss. One beauty queen is about the same as another. I just like to read this stuff to see how far from the image Miss SC girls fall from the MAO brand. It's really funny! (NT) -- No name, Sunday, April 21, 06:27:43pm
- Sounds to me like you don't have a life... (NT) -- No name, Sunday, April 21, 07:25:31pm
- You'd be surprised. With the global attention focused on this pageant, you have readers from all over the world laughing at you backwards people. Oh...and adoring Analouisa! Keep us laughing! (NT) -- No name, Sunday, April 21, 07:52:54pm
- Mkay... Whatever you want to think... Lol (NT) -- Some people take themselves way too seriously, and they keep me laughing, Sunday, April 21, 08:30:54pm
- One of the comments from copied and pasted under the CNN article: Acquaintance says: "I hate to be a downer but I was in school with her and although I support what she stands for. I don't support her as a person, she was not kind to most people and she always had to out do others however it seems right someone like that would represent South Carolina, they deserve each other." (NT) -- No name, Wednesday, April 24, 10:25:55pm
- And yet this nameless, faceless person has credibility by what the posted response to the story. (NT) -- In fact if this "person" did go to school with her, I bet he/she was two faced as all get out!, Thursday, April 25, 07:32:34pm
- Yes, you nameless, faceless person! How dare you say anything that doesn't sing AV's praises! (NT) -- No name, Thursday, April 25, 09:34:28pm
You are one sick person (NT) -- Sad, sick and pathetic. And if you respond it will only prove how sad and pathetic you are., Thursday, April 25, 10:11:20pm
- Sad, sick, and pathetic is trying to get publicity and status without doing any REAL work. Just ask her some questions, and you can judge for yourself. As for me, I am done with this conversation. I gave my opinion, and it's just that: an opinion. You don't want me to respond b/c you want the last word. It's like some sick game you are playing. Yet, when I don't respond, you come on here and insult me. Well little girl, you can have the last word, because I am sure that you will post an insult after this posting. I'm bored with this conversation, so you can have the last word. Please allow me to step out of the way so that you can hurl your final insult. I'm sure it will make you feel so much better. (NT) -- Actually, the final word will be said at the state pageant., Friday, April 26, 06:53:46am
- Who cares about the last work, let's just keep this moronic post at the top so everyone can see how mean, bitter, judgemental, and hateful all of you pageant hangers-on are! It shows the world what you're really like. (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 12:53:11pm
- Ooooo...someone's going to "own" me...that should be "word" not "work" for those of you who can't figure it out. (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 12:55:22pm
- Yes, let's do keep this at the top so folks can see how the people who AV associates with like to keep shit stirred up. (NT) -- Take it to the top!!!!!!!, Friday, April 26, 05:15:14pm
- So you support AV? You're stirring, honey. Why can't you morons see you're sin? Remember the plank and the mote? (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 06:12:05pm
- Not sure why you keep bring religion into this, but.... Mkay!!!!! (NT) -- To the top! Don't stop!, Friday, April 26, 06:25:34pm
- Because I KNOW you sit in church on Sunday morning acting like God wouldn't melt in your sinning mouth. You're hypocrites. D'accord? (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 07:24:58pm
- I don't attend church, but I do know that giving an opinion isn't a sin. Let me ask you this: Do you believe that homosexuality a sin? Before you jump me, remember, I have never given my opinion one way or the other on homosexuality. I am through with this conversation. Call me a sinner, or whatever else you would like, but the last time I checked, expressing an opinion is not a sin. And remember, I wasn't the one who brought up religion. You've brought it up several times now. (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 08:48:59pm
- I'm just shocked over the "opinions" expressed on here. They're not beautiful, gracious, artistic, intelligent or refined. But they are nasty, hateful, judgemental, hurtful, and lowbrow...not qualities I associate with Miss America or the people who claim to support their ideals. You're just a mean person, and your "opinions" are the result of self-loathing (ask any shrink) and projected onto others who are doing things you can't do. It seems every Miss SC or Miss America thanks God for her crown...I suppose I expect more from you people. And, no, homosexuality isn't a sin. However, some opinions are. For instance, in my opinion murder is okay...we should all kill people. Or lie. Or commit adultery. Yes, some opinions are sins, and tearing down other people is wrong by any moral standard. (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 09:19:14pm
- All I said was that she needed to work on interview and talent, and not make excuses for when she doesn't win, and not try to achieve overnight success just for being "different." I don't think that that was being nasty, hateful, judgmental, or lowbrow. Some of the things said to me were lowbrow. I've been called trash, a non-Christian, as well as other insults. I am not self-loathing. I have succeeded at just about everything I've ever tried, but that's because I'm willing to put in the work. I understand that to have anything, you have to do just that. Therefore, I really have a hard time with contestants who are doing these pageants for all the wrong reasons. All you have to do is ask them about their platform, and you will know immediately when you get a shallow answer. (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 09:43:25pm
- If you kicked out all the lazy ones, you could probably start with your top five. You singled out one person when it's rampant in this system. That's mean, I don't care how you rationalize it. (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 09:48:50pm
- No, she singled herself out. In that article, she claimed that she had lost some local prelim's b/c she's gay. That's a cop out. If she truly feels that she has been discriminated against, then why does she continue with MAO? I mean, if I felt discriminated against, I surely wouldn't continue giving my $ to a system, or any other entity, for that matter. Her claims just didn't add up, & by saying that she had lost a few prelims b/c she was gay is not speaking well for the system. Bottom line: If you're going to put yourself in the public eye, then you're going to have to take the good & the bad. Everyone isn't going to sing your praises, or agree with everything you say. You just have to stick with who you are, work hard, and not make any excuses. If you feel that you have been cheated, go elsewhere. She was 1st RU at Lyman, and the crown was passed to her right? I'm not trying to be mean when I ask this, but does she feel that she was originally 1st RU b/c she was gay? (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 11:12:12pm
- Also, I want to make one other point: If you read through the comments, you can plainly see that someone wanted to keep "egging" it on, and keep pushing this thread to the top. These were folks that were supposedly defending her, so you can blame those folks for perpetuating this. (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 11:21:20pm
- And what about all those high ideals you people claim to believe in. I certainly don't see them on here. No wonder Miss America is losing traction. No one believes your hype anymore. They read this stuff and know what you people are like. (NT) -- No name, Friday, April 26, 07:40:33pm
- ok this is out of control... who really cares? I mean its up to the judges anyways. And they dont read this board so unless it gets brought up in interview then it's mute and pointless to keep rambling on and on. They most likely will never even know lol -- No name, Monday, April 29, 09:18:32am
- Re: Anyone else think all the other Miss contestants should be receiving the same amount of publicity as Analouisa? -- It is up to each contestant on how they want to promote themselves sounds like to me that what they should be doing and not worrying about what shes doing, she doing what she should be doing !, Wednesday, May 01, 01:17:37am
- Taking control of the publicity was the wisest choice she could make. Much better than rumors or someone else bringing it to light. The most important thing is she's hopefully showing girls who may not have thought they had a place in pageants that they do. -- No name, Monday, May 06, 05:43:18pm
