The Miss Darlington Scholarship Pageant committee proudly presents "A Night at the Disco" on February 7, 2009. The event will take place at the J.C. Daniel for the Performing Arts in the city of Darlington. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.

More than $2,200 in scholarships will be awarded at this year's event.

The event will begin with a pre-show disco concert by Christina Waters at 6:15 p.m. and the pageant will follow at 7 p.m.
The pageant will feature Miss Darlington 2008 Brittany Robinson, Miss Teen Dance 2008 Caroline Byrd, the Brenda Cranford School of Dance, Kendall Standish and WPDE Newschannel 15's Tonya Brown.

Put on your boogie shoes and dange the night away as we take you through the disco revolution in a unique way!
We will end the evening with the crowning of two new representatives for the city of Darlington.

The Miss Easely and Liberty committee will be presenting "Tropical Dreams" on Feb. 28th at the Liberty Middle school. The meeting will be Feb 25 at The Sunhut Tanning Salon and Boutique at 7:00. You can email me for directions. My email is sunhuttw@aol.com

We are offering $500.00 scholarship for the Winner's for the Miss.

We also have a great gift package put together for the Winning queens. Brooklynn's Boutique will be giving a $150 gift certificate for an Evening Gown of her choice to all the winning queens. Also Total Fitness is giving a certificate for their gym in powdersville, and many, many more surprises.

Subject: Watching Miss America saturday night, I did not care for the winners hair or gown. Then I watched the other girl's reaction to her win. The other contestants were delighted with the winner and then I thought back to her talent and answers. My mind was changed, I now believe that Miss Indiana was real and extremely nice. She will make an incredible new Miss America.

I can't think of a one who hasn't placed in the Top Finalist or won NFT awards.
