Our friends at the Hollywood Parks Department hosted its annual Spring Marshmallow Drop this past Saturday. Several of our local titleholders and those from as far away as Tamp joined us for the fun. This year we returned to the beautifully renovated Boulevard Heights Community Center in west Hollywood.

The free family event featured 30,000 marshmallows dropped from a helicopter for children ages 612 to gather in their baskets and trade for prizes. For ages 35, there was an Easter egg hunt. Families came early to enjoy a puppet show along with games, a bounce house, dance, baton and karate demonstrations. Of course the star of the day besides our titleholders was of course the Easter Bunny!
