- I don't think anyone has anything against either girl. The truth is the truth. Both are sweet girls but not many consider them a threat for obvious reasons. Sarah has the "look" but doesn't have the talent, and Leah is a nice girl but doesn't have the package or look. They both are successful young women who will do great things with their life but probably will not win Miss SC. (NT) -- No name, Monday, October 22, 10:23:14am
- Since Sarah is done competing we will just see if Leah is a threat come July.... (NT) -- No name, Tuesday, October 23, 05:59:12pm
- Like someone mentioned before, its nothing personal against the girls, yes! they are capable of winning a local title but there are always girls that can win locals and never place or win but become successful women in society. However, they don't have a chance because your next Miss SC will be crowned Nov. 3 as Miss Spartanburg-Taylor Fitch....if they desire to waste time and money then by all means! -- No name, Friday, November 02, 04:00:24pm
- No one is pushing anything but if the girls are switching and feel that USA is more fair then I support anything that provides equality. After reading this board I will not be starting a preliminary to encourage broken hearts. -- No name, Friday, November 02, 07:40:43pm
- AGAIN...freedom of speech...our founding fathers just don't agree with you and AGAIN equality!!! -- No name, Saturday, November 03, 11:40:37pm
- SERIOUSLY......nothing to do with free speech.....how ridiculous. The point is if you think everyone who enters is "wasting" their time and money why do do you care what goes on? Unless you are just trying to tear the program down? Work hard, do a great job, serve, meet life long friends and you will receive great blessings. -- No name, Saturday, November 03, 11:54:20pm
- Ignorance MUST truly be bliss...whether or not you find this ridiculous (which matters about as much as this message board does) isn't relevant...why do I care? I've been around long enough (roughly since 1998) to see yearsssss of Miss SC's predicted and what do you know? They WALK away with it all! Not saying they haven't represented SC well! Some of my favorites include: Christie Greene, Wendy Willis, Danielle Davis, Erika Grace Powell, and Bree Boyce. Yes, personal growth is ALWAYS encouraged! And yes, service is an excellent way to develop character, I just think there are better economic venues to explore before pouring a year into what seems to be a predetermined shame. So my sweet, I do hope that satisfies your repetitive questioning and may your next retort find better grammar. (NT) -- No name, Sunday, November 04, 12:15:15am
- Last weekend I heard Sarah was competing, I hope so she is such a beautiful girl. I guess her plans have changed! (NT) -- No name, Monday, November 05, 07:20:59pm
