- Is this a good local? -- newbie, Thursday, December 11, 09:27:26pm
- Yes this is a great local. The town supports their Miss and selling ads is much easier than most titles. In addition the guys that run this really want a Miss SC and will help you every way they can. All that and they are fun too. -- Fan, Friday, December 12, 09:37:28am
- Re: Is this a good local? -- they've done well the past 3 years, don't know if it was luck or what, Sunday, December 14, 08:33:34pm
- Hartsville was the pageant in the past that everyone wanted to do. I have seen them have 15 plus contestants, but the last few years it has gone down hill. Contestant numbers have dropped and so has the awards. Hopefully this year they can recruit some really good contestants and make the admission price worth paying. (NT) -- I'll bet all locals have seen a drop in the number of contestants. It's not just Hartsville. They've placed in the top ten or five in the past 3 years in either miss or teen. The same can't be said for all pageants, however., Sunday, December 21, 10:31:39pm

- Looking forward to attending the Miss Hartsville Anniversary pageant too! Their list of formers reads like a "who's who" in the Miss SC Pageant. Some of their memorable formers include JJ Foxworth, Eliza Caughman, Mary Waddell Gainey, Janet Powers, just to name a few, I sure hope that all of these are in attendance! -- Blast from the Past, Friday, December 19, 01:36:10pm

- I really liked that opera singer that had a few years ago. Her ad pages were beautiful and it seems she was a really nice girl too. I have liked all them for the past 10 years. (NT) -- Oldee, Monday, December 22, 10:20:58pm
