While I agree Suzi did an amazing job this week and was stunning, I think we would have had a Miss America if we had sent Christal Potter or Sydney Sill. However, I guess the Miracle Maker Award is more important to South Carolina and understandably so. Please do not take that as a bashing! I just would love to see another Miss America from South Carolina - 1993 is far too long!!!! I hope both of these girls will return and give it another try. I know that Sydney will, however, I am unsure of Christal's age. I would just urge her to stay true to herself and pick her own clothes and song! She is beautiful to the core and I do not even know her other from watching her over the past two years and watching her posts online.

You can spend as much or as little as you want in pageantry. The hotel for the week long stay will run you a few hundred dollars. A hair/makeup artist for the week of the state competition is usually over $1,000.
