There are several great locals not even on the calendar. What’s going on, Spartanburg, Greenville Scottish Games, Boling Springs, Greenville. Are they waiting until after the 19th to see what a mess Miss America is going to be or are they reconsidering not having a local this year. They have always waited until closer to the March cutoff to have prelims and usually back to back so the girls can hop from one to another. It's after football season and most of the dance and cheer comps. The main thing that needs to change is who some of the local directors are. Many of them are there in name only. Hopefully the good ones will return for another year. I mean if they were doing it for the girls and the scholarships, why leave?
