Who else is competing and can teens go at large this year?

[> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Yes, she can work with them because she has transitioned into Miss. It does not matter that she was with them as a Teen. Sydney Sill did the same thing with Kevin and Jared, as both their Miss and Teen. People have always gone back and competed for LEDs they loved as a Teen.

OMG. Are you serious. No top contenders. Did you ever stop & think that maybe this year the talent pool may actually be deeper? I saw several pageants this year and I can tell you the talent is far and away much better this year than last year. I find it insulting than you say " not much competition". Just because the popular girls are not doing it does not mean not much competition. In fact, several of the popular girls this year did not even win a prelim this year. So what does that tell you about competition. Maybe it is actually better.
[> [> [> Subject: Lol at your comment. The “popular” girls that you are talking about have not competed . . . Yet. None have lost so next

[> [> [> [> Subject: And I only think there are two good competitors this year. The rest are great girls just not what we envision as a miss state or even miss A. I’m thinking we will see a couple of the big contenders competing here pretty soon! So although the pool of candidates isn’t as big and strong (yes I do feel like last year was one of the strongest years ever) we still have a few that will be there at state. It will be a much easier year to compete this year that last year. IMOP

>>lol....at your lol. It's all subjective. Who's to say some of these girls this year would not have placed better or even won with the change of just 1 judge last year. This is all only your's & my opinion. I think the talent I have seen this year is much better than the talent last year from top to bottom. And I believe talent is more important this year than past years. My understanding talent will be 50% prelims & 30% finals at Miss America. So if we send a Miss who's talent is so-so, we'll be lucky yo place anybody in top 15. We need strong talent & IN MY OPINION, the talent I have seen at the pageants I have attended looks stronger this year. It's a whole new ballgame now. Besides, who is to say some of the contenders last year know talent is a higher score & decided to not compete this year because they know their talent is weak..... just a thought.
[> [> [> [> [> Subject: I agree the talent this year is lacking. Hoping to see some stronger talents come through these last few pageants!
