Subject: How many SABT boerboels does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Any one of them will be glad to do it....they hate the dark. :)

How ya guys doing? Nice to see you're still around. A week ago or so, I was driving and I saw this male tan dog with a black mask and a cropped tail, looked just like Boerboel. It looked like an adult but he had to have weighed only around 90 lbs. Reminded me of Goliath but small. I thought I'd check to see what's new. Low and behold, I'm in the middle of a good ol' rerun of the old vs. the new, the doom of a breed and the call for it's resurrection.

"realize that the general public doesn’t have much need for this dog at his best".

That pretty much sums up that discussion. Water will seek it's path of least resistance. No need to work or train for a dog that you don't really need. Times change, society changes and naturally along with that, dogs change too. That's why there are over 1,000 breeds with most having no real purpose other than companionship. Their fate is inevitable.

David having the unique position of having the need for this type of dog, I'm glad that he's producing them, because when they're moving, they are a sight to see for any dog enthusiast.
