Subject: Trapper 501 Mainsail Configuration

Hi folks, I'm looking for my first yacht and the T501 looks a good choice to me and confirmed by many replies in the Forum. The boat I like has rolling boom mainsail which I have never used before. What are the advantages/disadavantages of the roller main sail and is conversion to slab reefing difficult/expensive?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
