The original Yanmar YSB8 fitted to Star Trapper is
showing signs of senility. Not bad after nearly thirty
years & umpteen hours use.

Gearbox oil seems to be leaking into the flywheel housing
& getting into the starter motor. Has anybody experience
of this?

Maybe it’s time to fit a new engine. The Yanmar 1GM10
appears the obvious choice.

Any thoughts, recommendations & suggestions most welcome.
