Hi Alan & Kim,

Have revisited the condition survey done for previous owner.
Moisture readings( instrument not specified) in hull were generally 12 to 14 but with 17/18 in two areas- one 0.5x0.5m at 1.25 metres aft of keel box and same size area at 0.75metres forward of keel box.The latter is clearly around the log /depth transducer area but I can only assume collected water ( behind a stiffener??)for the rear patch.

At layup I found about a quarter bucket of water around the transducer and back to forward side of keel box. Slight nose down attitude ( on trailer) helped to ensure this was easily sponged out. No external evidence tacitly or visually of osmotic blistering.

Logic suggests if good ventilation encourages drying out of aft area (forward area has beeen dry for 3 months) then 'problem' may respond to good housekeeping.

Have list from survey to do for insurers - seized seacocks (sorted), hopefully moisture levels above will drop! - just got to sort out the gas storage and venting.

Cheers

Paul
