As familiar as he was with death, tehre was something unsettling about looking on while a loved one died, even if they were not gone. Rising to sit, weight braced lightly on one arm, he looked over Alex's convulsions with uneasy concern. Not that there was much else to do but wait for the moment to pass. And heed his lover's reach as death iced the mortal over in ivory and he shifted to Alex's side, burying his face into the other's neck. To find no pulse... One hand caressing the male's shoulder soothingly, he touched a kiss to the location of the bite, flesh healed over and no trace of his feeding before nuzzling a breathy whisper against Alex's ear, a little secret that had taken so much time and pain to be realized and accepted. "...Alex, I love you."
