Only to slip open at those words, his whole body flushing with a sudden rush of heat, as if he weren't immortal at all, he he turns, capturing those lips in a tender kiss, his thoughts open, spilling every rush of emotion in him into that tender action. His eyes are flooded with quiet tears, his near silent heart fluttering quietly with joy at those words. He knew it was true without ever questioning it, but to hear those words, finally, after so long.
