Because Peggau, Martin and Saunders (and possibly Marhold) should see the bulk of the minutes at the 4 and 5 ... at least I hope so. I think Clark and Monteiro are interchangeable depending on matchups. Clark is a stronger rebounder and he can play man against "taller and stronger."

Ideally you are correct, but what we saw last year was Saunders at the 5 and Clark at the 4. If Martin/Peggau don't step up this year, we will see more of the same. So my take on the question is that Clark is a bit stronger, and bit tougher, and a bit better rebounder than is Monteiro. (NT) -- Slim, Friday, July 09, 12:45:12pm

- I think you've summed this up pretty well actually. I think it's wholly dependent upon the end of the floor. Clark guarding the other team's 4 makes more sense than Monteiro (who seems to me to be pretty poor defensively and isn't as strong as Clark).
