Your forum really proved to the local press that there were a lot of loyal Duquesne Baskeball fans out there. We have a lot of work to do on the football side even after the great evening and win vs Bucknell before a full Rooney Field... Not sure how much it proved, but it is read, as is your forum. In both basketball & football the thing that will be noticed the most is winning. My cousin was an All American on DU's Iron Dukes 1941 undefeated team. I believe I read on your forum that if the BCS system was in effect at that time DU would have been ranked #1. We will never be at that level again, but there is a lot of history behind DU football, and I look for DU to be a consistent challenger in their league as the get more scholarship players.
