I've got the LG8600. And I know you're right about the moisture. Since I was still sitting in the tub, even though I'd dried everything off, I think my hair was still wet enough to put moisture into the phone. I could actually see what appeared to be water inside the screen. That's why I was jumping for joy when the screen wallpaper came back as I dried it with the blow dryer. But then it disappeared again. I'm just so happy that I didn't have to buy another phone. As for your battery, I'll bet the new one helps. Batteries, in my experience, only last about a year to a year and a half. After that, you might as well replace 'em. But you're due in May, right? Only two more months?? Getting excited yet???
